Valentine's Day 2012

Darkness has fallen over the shard; some Evil Ethereal Warriors are out to kill the love of Valentine’s Day.

They have gathered all the gifts for Valentine’s Day and are hidden behind locked doors, the keys they

have hidden with their little friends the Imps.

You must seek out the imps for they hold the keys to stop this madness.

Once you have a key go try to open doors in the Ankh Dungeon. Do this by having the key in your backpack and

double clicking the doors.

When you find a door your key unlocks a monster will spawn inside.  Run in and kill it, and you will have

a chance to get one of the new items for Valentine’s Day. Note** if you run out before you kill the monster, you can't get back in w/o another key and double the monsters.... So, lead it out to kill it before the door closes if your claustrophobic.

IF YOU DIE OR WANT TO LEAVE A ROOM: There is a teleporter in the BLUE SParkles that will take you to the room next door where an Ankh is located....The one in the room will take you back into the monster and your body...TO EXIT you cannot open doors w/o a key so go to the room thru the BLUE SPARKLES AND ANKH....then TO EXIT go thru the RED SPARKLES, this will take you back outside the room.

  So Blue Sparkles take you back and forth out of the room.....Red Sparkles outside of the rooms in the hallway

Christmas Dungeon is Now Live!!!! The former Prism of Light Dungeon entrance located in Nujelm..

Now to enter, teleporters are located in the sparkles...yes go into the sparkles!!! But wait nothing happens That is Right!!.....You must type the proper Christmas word while standing in the sparkles to enter and move forward through the dungeon.

The words, in no particular order as as follows:

Along the way, you'll encounter Mutated Reindeer, Mutated Elves, Christmas Bears, Christmas Frogs, Swans, Past Reindeer and even a Partridge Bird. These all have items that randomly spawn on the animals and monsters.

New this year as also: New Animated Trees, Holiday Christmas Candles, Holiday Christmas Lamp Posts, and Two new Snowmen....along with many other items from Christmas' Past.

Now located in The Village, Felucca (Out the West gate of Trinsic, then NE near the Swamp) is a stone located at the entrance of the Bank named the Red Player's Companion. These are all available to buy with the tokens from Evil Bone Knights...remember to have the token box he is located at the Graveyard as well.  The Pet Zombie, Pet Skeleton, and Pet Wraith are all available on Bruce Banners Pet as a random reward in his loot. Also located in Heartwood are 8 new Tree sets...4 sets available on Niam. These are all displayed around Heartwood.

Tip of the Day

If you are getting ton of stuff in your backpack from the quest below and you are picking them out 1 by 1 well here is a solution.

Go buy you some bags....

If you are using Razor, go to the tab AGENTS, In the drop down box you will see Organizer 1, Organizer 2, etc....Select Organizer 1. Click Add Target button and then target the item you have a gazillion of or will have. Next Click Set bag and target one of the bags you have in your pack. now Click Organize Now Button when you have a ton of them in your pack....Viola...they will automatically go into a bag, keep what you want and toss the bag of what you don't in the nearest Trash can....Enjoy

The Animal Quest has arrived for the not so faint at heart. Be warned this is a time consuming and complex quest. You will need to pay close attention to the Gumps and this site to manage your way thru the maze of new Npcs.

Tools are acquired by doing the quest located on the Npc, Seggallion in the New Market area[Entrance Located East of Covetous, you must find it on your own]. To use the tool double click it and target the item, anything you gather will be placed in your backpack along with a message that lets you know whether or not you got something as well. For more info on the tool works on, double click the tool and target the tool itself you will get a help menu.

The Npcs for the quest are located in Vesper, a group/horde of friends of Seggallion have gathered there and basically took over the town.

The quest is broken up into 7 tiers….Yes 7…You must start at the beginning and work your way through the levels as the levels and rewards all build from the beginning onward. You can start all the levels at once if you wish or work on them individually, that is all up to you.

The levels consist of a Vegetable Tier, Berry Tier, Fruit Tier, Mining Tier, Tree tier, Tailor Tier, and Monster Tier.

You will start the quest by getting a Tool to be used for all the lower levels to collect the items you will require EXCEPT the monster tier these are new animals that have been randomly placed in game consisting of:

Coyotes[Malas Select Forested Areas], Garden Snakes [Tram/Fel Select Garden Areas], Forest Bears[Tokuno Moongate Forested Areas, and Wolf Spider[Despise Passage Tram/Fel, Wind Cave Area].

To assist you as well in completing part of the Tailor tier you will also find Black Sheep[Yew tram/Fel Area] and White Cows[Delucia Tram/Jhelom Tram/Fel].

The items you need to collect from these will randomly spawn on them when the monster, animal is killed.

You will also get items consisting of Trail Mix, Wooden Planks, Needles, and Slag which will be collected randomly while gathering the other items you need to fulfill the Quests.

Once you have completed all levels to get your Mini Houses from each tier except Monster Tier, you will have to place the house inside of your home…All requests from the Npcs will come from previous collecting and the rewards you will get from these houses. These Mini houses may be collected from once per day for a random reward. To move onward you will have to collect them and turn them in. So, if you can’t live without something you will have to get it again to move forward. These mini houses are also locked to your account meaning for each type, you can collect once only per account per day. *See more info below

You will find below each Tier and the Npcs you will have to do in ORDER….You must complete them in Order to get your reward to move onward. The lower levels all work on previous levels so keep this in mind.

Also, just because these Npcs are all listed in order here does mean they are in game, you will have to spend the time to find them in throughout Vesper

So if you have ever wanted your own Pet chicken, Goat, Cow, Sheep, Horse, Pig, Cat or Dog for your house well get busy they are there to be attained as well as some really neat décor items.

This is a perma feature and is not intended to rush through it as you can see by how it is written, the level of difficulty is also done on purpose to make it a lengthy quest so please don’t share items with others or sell items on Npcs. The idea is to get people to be on the shard, interact and play for longer periods of time.

For example on the level below…The Vegetable Tier to give you an idea of what you are supposed to do, you will use the tool to collect from Corn, Potato, Pea, and Tomato plants.

You will get from Corn Crops: Corn Chips, Corn Fritter, Creamed Corn, and Cracked Corn ….Once you have collected the amount the NPC told you too…double click the box you would have gotten from The Corn Farmer in this case and you will get a Key.. Return the key to the correct NPC and get your reward. Note: the box weighs 100 stones, they are not meant to be carried in large amounts, so if you run out collecting a zillion of these you won’t be able to walk. Each time you click on an Npc, you’ll get a box so keep that in mind. Trash cans have been placed in all areas where these Npcs are located to cut down on littering the game, please use them.

Once you have collected the first 4 rewards go onward to the next Npc in this case The Bowl Crafter and turn in those 4 rewards, from the first 4 Npcs for the next reward. That reward will be required later as well and possibly even multiple times in some cases.

It is essential that you pay close attention to the order you do the Npc’s in they are based on one another as you move up in levels. Once you get to the Mini Houses, you will need to collect the items from those to move onward as well as repeating lower levels to attain the items you need. So my biggest tip is start with number one on a tier/any tier….write down the npc name, what you need and the reward you get, so then later when you have to have that item again you know where to go.

Bonus Npcs use a variety of items from the quests and 2 will also give you a Pet Dog or Cat.

Pets come in deed form and will be placed where you are standing when you click the deed, they will not decay. To retrieve a pet simply double click your pet he will return to deed form.  You can also rename them as you see fit by dragging the pet’s lifebar over, clicking the name in the box and hitting enter. There is no limit on how many pets, you can have either per house, so let you imagination run wild! You can also collect the feed for the type of animal and feed it, it will respond with various random sayings as well as age. Your house may be public or private; it will not interfere with your pets. If you accidently place your house in customization and forget to remove your pets first, you can retrieve them by simply double clicking them, they will return to deed form for you. This also applies if you wish to move them, simply double click your pet and it will return to deed form.

**Note on some items

Coffee pot – There is now Coffee Beans in game which can be harvested, You will need to have 30 beans. Double click them and target a flourmill and it will grind it up for you into a bag of coffee. If you double click the Coffee maker, you will get your very own pot of coffee. Now be warned this coffee maker is a little quirky. So, make sure you only have one bag of coffee, these don’t unstack and one bag of coffee in your pack for one pot of coffee…The pots will stack as well, but can’t be separated.

Water Tower - is animated as well as serves as another water source, works like the water trough.

Greenhouse – Seeds can be looted from the Coyote, Garden Snake, Wolf Spider, Forest Bear, Black Sheep and White cow. Once a seed is gathered, drop it on the crate outside your greenhouse and it will spawn a new plant for you inside. They are not locked down make sure to pick them up and lock them down. There are 7 new seeds in all. These ONLY work with the Greenhouse.

Tree Stump – Gives random wood daily (Once every 24 hours)

Mining Cart – Gives random Ingots and Gems daily (Once every 24 hours)

PLEASE NOTE to get your Tree Stump or Mining Cart back into deed form, equip an axe and double click the item. The other deeds work as normal.

Granite Furnace – Animated, If Regular Granite is dropped in the crate, it will give you sand in return

Also, remember some items required could be from a Npc you’ve already done which means a repeat is in order to move forward.
